If it's REALLY sticky out, we have a portable A/C that can be used upstairs (typically in the Living Room). 

You'll find this in the Twin Room closet (the rolling portable A/C & the blue Ikea bag of accessories to make it work)

1. Bring the A/C to where you want it to cool down

2. Connect the hose to the back of the unit by  first pushing in and then turning clockwise

3. Connect the other end of the hose to the window bracket

4. Insert the window bracket in the partially opened window and close it tightly on it to keep it from falling out

5. The portable A/C is now ready to use
