Wondering what that big metal spoon in the pantry is? Or who this "Mr. Chips" is and why does he keep treats in our home? We'd gone a bit overboard after spending several months at Golden Owl PA during early days of COVID and stumbled upon a picnic table for squirrels. It seemed silly, but after contacting the local company that makes them, we took the plunge and got a custom table for our furry friends (it's on a tree next on the side of our deck - and also has a streaming camera focused on it).

We hope that our guests can enjoy feeding him (and his family) by putting the food on the big spoon and pouring it into the cup on top of his table. Simply fill the cup up and leave the area alone. You have a good view from the living room and they won't run away. The kids love watching him come sit down for a snack. Hope he can warm your hearts like he has ours! Please do let us know if he's low on food after your stay so we can refill the container!
